"British Hungarian Fellowship - Help Fund Opened" (1956)

Just saw the BHF was appealing for funds for refugees in 1956, and with an impressive roster of signatories: https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=2507&dat=19561115&id=OGJAAAAAIBAJ&sjid=e5wMAAAAIBAJ&pg=3024,1647609&hl=en

Some of you have recently received unsolicited and inappropriate mail from someone called Celina who signed up as a member but clearly had no interest in British-Hungarian cultural affairs. This member has now been banned and all her messages blocked. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience she caused.

Surprising what a little camoflage can accomplish with all but the most scrutinizing of eyes. Would have responded earlier, but had to pop down to Clarksburg.

He is now back in Hungary,,, he lives midway between Budapest and Lake Balato in a village of some 6,000 residents (I have the name written down and buried in a mountain of papers!). He was working over here for a year, but I did not meet him and his co-worker until April 2009. We managed to communicate because I speak marvelous pigeon english, and by using a lot of sign language, and a rather inaccurate interenet translator service! !!!

It is a bit of a shock, I admit.

As for science, I used to be a molecular biologist, and am now a behaviour analyst, which is of use with reptiles as well as people.

I work with autistic children and their families.  Our youngest child, Simon, has autism.
