Profile Information

About Me:
'Found' myself living in Norfolk, originally from London. Administrate 5 Parish Councils (for those who don't know - a PC is the next Council down from the Borough Council). My job involves everything from running a cemetery, through to every aspect of village life. A teenage daughter keeps me young. Love communicating. Interests are numerous - running a kids project providing free mini moto racing takes up a far bit of time! Major interests - motorcycling - riding and writing about it, gardening, and attempting to keep my office tidy!

My British-Hungarian story:
A chance meeting a year ago with two Hungarians living in my village at the time,, resulted in a MSN friendship when they returned to Hungary, which was challenging to say the least as I spoke no hungarian, and our friends english was very 'limited'. Exchange visits were organised. I was lucky enough to experience 'real' hungarian village life - a fantastic experience although tinged with a bit of sadness at the financial difficulties hungarians are suffering. Our family now includes a hungarian member, and I have learnt a lot about the UK system and attitudes when someone is trying to make a life in the UK.
What I want from this site:
Networking.

Thank you so much for your lovely message Shan! I'm very happy that now I have found this Hungarian network...
And yes, Hungarian is such a difficult language to master but I'm blessed with my clients as they all seem to be quite talented actually...(-: They all are progressing faster than I expect them to...(-:
I'm teaching a couple of them via Skype on the Internet (one lady lives in France so teaching her would be difficult otherwise (-: So if you were ever interested in this option you know where to find me!
BTW, very cool bike!
All the Best, Renata
