Hello Nicholas... I stumbled across some CD's on Amazon.com a while back, that taught people how to speak Hungarian. Maybe you coud try there :) I speak Hungarian, cant write it tho, except for a small handful of words, and can read only a little,...

The only advice I can offer until you source a nanny/baby sitter is buy a Berlitz Hungarian phrase book and dictionary. It contains the basics which would be suitable to teach 2 baby girls .. greetings, colours, numbers and more complex sentences....

Your best bet is an evening course at SSEES UCL (School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London). http://www.ssees.ucl.ac.uk/languageunit/evening.htm
They have some truly excellent teachers there.
