- About Me:
- hi all im karen a mum of 8 and a grandma.
I was adopted after my parents split when i was 19 month old and although i was in touch with both my birth parents our relationship was strained
- My British-Hungarian story:
- My natural father arrived in the uk after the 1956 revolution.
He rarely mentioned his life in Hungary or what they went through.Unless Russia was mentioned then he swore like a trooper
He returned to hungary in 1981 for a visit,only after he had British citisenship.
My Dad lived in Derby till late 1968 then moved upto Durham North East where he lived till he passed away nearly 3 years ago.
- What I want from this site:
- Understanding of where they lived on entering the uk and hopefully somebody out there new my Dad and can help me piece together my family knowledge.
