It is a bit quiet, but there are people around. I think we haven't quite reached critical mass... I started off a couple of discussions but they seemed to die quietly of loneliness - maybe someone roaring around on a motorbike might wake people up a bit!
Morning Francis ,, thanks for your reply. I suppose it is a combination of busy lives, and either you are an internet fan or not. My computer is on for about 16 hours a day ...(I work from home) and am always linked to MSN and Twitter, For fun I run a kids mini moto racing project, and gave up spending 8 hours loading photos up of the Race Meetings as only a few youngsters viewed the photos ! Congratulations on this site ... as it appears unique!
Oooh - just watched some mini moto on youtube - that looks fun! How old do children have to be to do it? Our nearly-four-year-old just had his first rid on a full-size horse in the hills above Buda, and was quite upset that we wouldn't let it go any faster than a walk, but I imagine he's still a bit young for mini moto?

We have a snippet on you tube included in the Norfolk Constabulary promo for things to do in West Norfolk. If you want to view it go onto my website www.motokl.org.uk for the link. 4 years old is a good time to get little ones horse riding ,, but not mini moto riding Our regulations are you must be 11 up to 17 (and live in the county of Norfolk). It was assessed that under 11, the youngster cant quite grasp handling a motorised mode of transport. Our project is unique in that it is completely free to the youngsters (which as Co-ordinator Chairman gives me grey hairs in funding the project). I dont know where you are based, but if you are ever Kings Lynn way on a Thursday afternoon - bring your son along to watch.. and have a sit on a bike (Meeting dates are on the calendar page of the website) ,,
I have just joined, it does seem quiet but there doesn't seem to be that many members. I only came across this site by accident..it's a great idea but there definatly needs to be more members...

Hi Eva
Well we can solve that by chatting between us 2 !
Mr & Mrs Norton chat on here ,, but I have not communicated with anyone else
I see you are looking for a Hungarian Social Club - rocking horse poo springs to mind.
Anything Hungarian in England seems in short supply. Visited the library recently,, it was
full of polish books and 2 way polish language courses ..(.we have numerous polish people living and working
locally), but the only hungarian language courses (2) in the whole county were in the prison !!! Mind you in their defence they managed to find a basic (bit too basic it turns out) language course which when I checked through the user languages had Magyar ... which the English do not recognise as being Hungarian !
My background is that I have a Hungarian friend staying with me ... who I am keeping prisoner until he learns
English (only joking) ... mind you he did sink into desperation for 2 days ,, needing to speak his mother tongue
instead of struggling to understand. It has been an interesting 3 weeks! He learns very fast.. and has increased his vocubulary by some 400 words,, ,me - think I have learnt about 30 words ,,, and when I use them he tends to look at me blankly !!!!!
I too have tried to find Hungarian social events,, apparently there was one at Norwich,, but it would seem that the Hungarians come to work here for fixed periods and then all return en masse to Hungary,,, hence the club has closed. I understand there is a concentration of Hungarians in Cambridge,,, but they do not use the net.
Closest I have got to finding social events for my Hungarian friend is that we have been invited to a Polish party at the weekend !
So I am curious,, why are you looking for a Hungarian social club?
Im here Shan.... but I'm so new to this, I dont even know how to private message anyone haha - in fact, its just by sheer chance I even found this forum! :) Btw.. its 10.40am Wednesday in New Zealand

Ah that confusing time change ,,, I have a sister and nieces in Australia who I talk to in the mornings,, they get really annoyed with me when I bid them good morning !
I have spent hours trying to find hungarian networks,,, my poor friend thinks he is currently the only Hungarian living in England ....
There are various sites ,, but hopelessly out of date
This site is very good,,, and those members who do come on to the site are very friendly !!
